The correct height of your screen is extremely important in maintaining the correct posture while working on a computer.

The screen should be at a height such that the top line of your work (4-5 cm’s below the top of your screen) is at eye level. Your line of vision should be just slightly down and your neck kept in a neutral position. An exception is if you wear multifocals or bifocals - your screen should then be slightly lower than this. View our ergonomic set up and ergonomic video for more advice on screen height.

If you are unable to adjust the height of your screen or to achieve this optimal height, then you will need to raise your monitor by placing a monitor raiser underneath it.
